Another Iraqi war film but this time under the direction of Clint Eastwood and with a big name star in Bradley Cooper. Portraying Chris Kyle, Cooper puts in a good performance and manages to get across some of the anguish and fallout from the war but not necessarily for the right reasons.
I expected more from this film than the glorified list of targets that we got. Kyle was obviously a talented sniper but there needed to be more moments like his first kill to bring up the excitement and tension. The rest of the film ended up being pretty flat.
