Blue Ruin

Blue Ruin is a Lo-Fi, independent movie but it managed to hit all the right notes with me. The main character and his plight/angst are totally engrossing, which has to be down to the part being so well acted by Macon Blair. Visually it is really impressive to watch, and with not much wasted or filler scenes this film travels along at a very decent pace, building the tension and atmosphere up to the crushing finale.

A really well made film by Jeremy Saulnier with an intriguing storyline makes this a film definitely worth watching.
